Crazy Fabulous Singapore!
Singapore was mind blowing! I could have walked around for days taking photos of buildings! There are so many and yet no two were alike or even similar. I would love to know if a different architect designed each one? I hope you enjoy this journey around the city as much as I did!

The Lovely Ladies of Bali...
Here are a few photographs of some of the beautiful Balinese ladies that I encountered on my visit. These photos were taken on the side of the road, at the market, and at the resort where we were staying. All of the people that we met, male and female, were lovely. And we can't wait to return!

The Good, The Bad, and the Smelly: A Morning Visit to the Village Market!
One of my favorite things to do is to go to old school village markets. I love seeing the people, the colors, and the variety of things for sale. I wish that I could add the smells...but that is just not always possible! Ha! We arrived at the Payangan Market at around 7:30am. It had been in full swing since 5:00am! We saw all kinds of things!!!
This will give you a good idea of the overall feel of the market. Love the lady with her purchases on her head!
Beautiful flowers for sale... Love this color! Most of these are used to make offerings for the various Hindu gods...everyday!
Beautiful berries...not sure what kind! I asked, but never understood the answer!
Lotus flowers...again to make offerings for their Hindu gods...
All kinds of eggs....blue, brown, white, beige...Love those colors! Wondering how fresh they all are?
A Honeycomb!
Well...this would be one of the smelly things! Ugh! Those eyes!
Here is another good thing! It is smelly, too! But in a good way! This vendor also puts together "offerings" for the gods.
And another bad smelly thing! Do you notice all the ice on these fish as well as the others? NOT!
There were all kinds of little and large dried fish. And it was smelly! UGH!
Fresh eels, anyone? They were grown in that large puddle in that photo from yesterdays blog on the rice paddy hike.
Not sure how fresh these chickens are? They didn't smell very fresh!
Tobacco! They grow it in Bali, too!
More smelly dried fish things...
Chili peppers! Those are used A LOT in Bali!!! And I love them!
Pigs foot anyone? There was only one left when we got there! No ice!
Durian...so stinky! ..so expensive!
Love this old truck filled with produce!
These bananas were smelly too...in a good way.
And here are betel leaves. These are not a good thing! Google it!
And amazingly enough, everything is gone, but 10:30am. I don't thing it is all sold...but all the vendors are gone! I am afraid that some things reappear the next day and the day after! And I will say it one more time...NO ICE!
