We had an incredible morning! After waking at sunrise, we had a cup of coffee and a snack and headed out! We saw lots of beautiful animals this morning! One highlight was a heard of 50-60 elephants. When we came upon them, 2 adolescent males were fighting. Pretty incredible hearing the sounds of their tusks clashing against each other as well as trees being knocked down! Very comical when one youngster was sort of mock charging us. We also saw a troop of baboons led by their alpha quickly climb a tree to rob a huge eagle nest. Luckily there was one young eagle in the nest and he barely flew away. Saw lots of hippos, impalas, kudus, zebras, wildebeest and so on. We came back to a beautiful breakfast on the terrace. We ate while we watched zebras fight and wildebeest and impalas stroll by. Barry is sound asleep and I have been watching the monkeys on our terrace open a box of matches and scatter them everywhere! I feel like I am on a movie set!
