Animal Overload on the Mara
It is impossible to look anywhere on the Mara at this time of the year and not see an animal....in fact, several species are usually in your vision at one time. After our champagne breakfast on the Mara, Benson took us to watch a pride of lions eat breakfast. By the looks of the full tummies it appeared that they might have had early, really early, and a late breakfast...all before 10 am. It was very exciting to see endangered black rhino, too. Both black and white rhino are being poached at alarming rates all over Africa. We ended our day with sundowners overlooking the vast Mara. The Masa Mara in Kenya should be on everyone's bucket list!!!!
